BIOGRAPHY

Hoyt Hochman began working at Blair Commercial Real Estate in 1996. With only one day of real estate sales experience, he was selected as lead sales associate for two conversion projects underway in Long Beach. He handled all Department of Real Estate contracts for both projects and was instrumental in the closing of all escrows which totaled 43 units.

Once finished, Mr. Hochman immediately began venturing into the commercial side of real estate. He was assigned to assist Becky Blair with the leasing and sales of vacant, dilapidated buildings throughout the City of Long Beach. His outgoing personality and superb people skills were shown as he hit the streets to market his inventory. His efforts finally paid off as he was able to make his first sale of a run down, commercial building that was completely gutted of all mechanical systems.

He has continued to represent numerous building owners and buyers throughout his tenure at Blair Commercial Real Estate. He is the company’s top sales agent with over forty five million dollars in sales throughout his career. He is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of all agents in the corporation as well as contract creation and review.

He achieved the coveted CCIM degree, often referred to as the doctorate degree (Ph.D.) for commercial real estate professionals. He was awarded one of the few scholarships to attend initial courses from the institute. He was among the youngest to ever receive this designation which is held by less than 1% of all agents in the nation.

Newlywed, Mr. Hochman and his wife, Veronica, currently reside in the California Heights historic district in Long Beach located just minutes away from his headquarters. He prides himself on honesty and integrity and with that, he has maintained a steady, loyal base of clients.
